Cleveland Browns: Seneca Wallace’s Trade Value Increasing By The Day
The Cleveland Browns will enter the 2011-12 season with at least three eligible quarterbacks on the active roster. However, the three signal callers that will be with the team could easily be in question as multiple issues surround the current roster and could ultimately result in a massive overhaul in the near future. Seneca Wallace is one of the three gunslingers that may actually hold a slight amount of trade value, and may even be more of a prized possession than some of the quarterbacks on the open market.

Cleveland Browns Will Not Trade For Kevin Kolb: Fan Reaction
The Cleveland Browns have made headlines for various reasons so far during the 2011 off season but may have finally made a solid decision for the franchise moving forward. The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported on Friday that the team will not look to pursue Kevin Kolb at any point during the upcoming season.
This is a very good move by the Browns franchise for several reasons. The first of which is that Cleveland has finally followed their words with actions as Colt McCoy looks be the official quarterback of the future for the franchise. This is also a great move for Cleveland because of the fact that the Browns will retain their multiple first-round picks for the 2012 NFL Draft.
Kolb has been drawing a significant amount of attention during the spring and summer months but many NFL analysts agree that all of the hype may be uncalled for. Kolb has played in 19 games throughout his professional career and has compiled stats that are relatively unimpressive. In his four years in the NFL, Kolb has only thrown 11 touchdowns and only has 600 more passing yards than McCoy (only played eight games).
Cleveland Browns: Is Phil Taylor Just Another Shaun Rogers?
The Cleveland Browns made a big splash on the first day of the NFL Draft as they changed positions three times before selecting defensive tackle Phil Taylor. Taylor is was one of the largest defensive prospects in the draft and has been regarded as a monster of a defensive lineman. However, Cleveland fans have heard all of this hype once before when Shaun Rogers came to Cleveland and was expected to be an anchor on the defensive line.

Cleveland Browns Fire Director Of Player Development
The Cleveland Browns have parted ways with long-time player development director, Jerry Butler. Butler had been with the Browns for 12 seasons as one of the few people left from Cleveland’s 1999 expansion franchise. The Browns have not given any formal reason for Butler’s dismissal. However, rumors that Cleveland may be cutting large salaries in the front office have already began to surface. Although, the Browns may just be looking to head in a different direction under Mike Holmgren and Pat Shurmur.
The Browns also released a statement earlier in the week that they are pleased with the players’ actions during this lockout period and were impressed with the leadership of Colt McCoy during his “Camp Colt” sessions this spring.
Cleveland Browns: Could Albert Haynesworth Be On Cleveland’s Trade Radar?
The Cleveland Browns came out of the 2011 NFL as a significantly better team with a better level of talent at many key positions. However, Cleveland still has some significant holes to fill before the 2011-12 season and should have some quality trade bait heading into the summer months. One player that may be available on the trading block for the Browns is Albert Haynesworth of the Washington Redskins.
