Cleveland Browns DT Shawn Rogers might be starting to think about an occupation after football. Last week he must have been thinking about a possible career in law enforcement. According to Fox 8, Rogers was traveling on I-71 when he spotted a possible drunk driver, so he called 911.

Rogers followed the car and remained on the line with 911 service, even after the driver of the car had blown the right front tire and was driving on the rim. The driver of the car pulled the vehicle off to the side of the road then shut off the car’s lights. Rogers pulled up behind the vehicle and turned on his emergency lights to warn other drivers.

The Police arrived and both the driver and passenger of the vehicle were charged. The driver for DUI and the passenger for underage consumption.

The Middleburg Heights police chief said, “I thought his actions were above and beyond and I wanted to express to him as chief of police how much we appreciate what he did that night he helped keep Middleburg Heights safe”.

I wonder if he got a get out of jail free card for his wallet?
