Cleveland Browns head coach Eric Mangini told reporters on Thursday that he plans to use Jake Delhomme and Seneca Wallace at quarterback this coming year.

“I don’t think you could rule out the possibility of having them both play. I think Seneca has had a really nice camp. It’s a different style than Jake’s, which is good because it puts some different pressures on the defense, ” Mangini said.
RB Jerome Harrison, a restricted free agent who had been sitting out OTA’s, decided to join the Browns on the practice field.
K Phil Dawson is still missing from camp.
When does Holmgren Return to the Sidelines?
The Cleveland Browns hired Mike Holmgren this off season and named him President, but just how long before he returns to the sidelines? Last year saw an ugly relationship on the Browns team with several players filing grievences against head coach Eric Mangini and the organization. What might have temporarily saved Manginis’ job was a late season winning streak that saw the Browns finish the season 5-11. But from the moment Holmgren was hired, the questions started, When was Holmgren going to return to sidelines again? Holmgren appears comfortable in his new role, though he hasn’t lost the passion for coaching. If the Browns get off to a slow start in 2010, expect the questions to arise early and often.
Well, you can’t get worse than last place and last season that’s exactly where the Browns offense finished. 32nd out of 32 teams. This year the players expect to see a high powered offense with plenty of weapons.

Former Cleveland QB Ken Dorsey has found new work. The spaghetti-armed quarterback has fled north of the border to play for the Toronto Argonauts.

The Cleveland Browns are preparing themselves for a suspension of DT Shaun Rogers this coming season. Rogers, as you might remember “forgot” he had a loaded handgun in his bag and tried to carry it on an airplane on his way to Detroit.
Will Delhomme be effective?
The Cleveland Browns will have yet another new starting quarterback in 2010. A friend of mine is a die hard Browns fan and he has a jersey which he has added every Browns starting quarterback I believe since Brian Sipe. Each name has been stenciled in and then crossed off when there is someone new under center. This year he might have to turn the jersey over and start the names coming up the other side.
Browns OTA wrap up
The Cleveland Browns wrapped up their first OTA, minus some restricted free agents, so lets look around and see what the results were.
Prior to the OTA, Cleveland inked 6 new players to a contract. A brief introduction to them.
Mike Holmgren has spoken a lot recently about backup QB Seneca Wallace and his possible expanded role in the Browns offense. Find out what’s in store for Wallace here.
Browns fans have a lot of questions surrounding new QB Jake Delhomme. See what head coach Eric Mangini has to say here.
Take a look at the new Browns as they hit the field, this is an actual look.
One Cleveland restricted free agent says don’t worry, I’ll be with the club. I’m beginning to see that veteran players are using their “restricted” status as a way to skip the OTA’s all together. Brett Favre set a bad example. What’s next? Eliminating training camp? LB D’Qwell Jackson assures the media and the fans that he’ll be a Brown.
Mike Holmgren’s version of the West Coast offense, might resemble more of a Mid-West Coast offense next season. QB Jake Delhomme says there’s a lot to learn.
Jackson Holdout Possible Through Camp
The Cleveland Browns have seen a plethora of restricted free agents skip voluntary workouts and now LB D’Qwell Jackson says he might sit out through training camp. Speaking to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Jackson told the paper that he will be sitting out the mandatory Browns camp June 10th-12th.

Jackson is entering his 5th season in the league and missed most of last season with a shoulder injury. The 6’0″ 240 pound linebacker recorded 59 tackles in 6 games last year and has 407 tackles and 3 sacks in his career. Jackson had a solid 2008 season.
Another browns veteran who decided it best to skip voluntary workouts, K Phil Dawson might be getting a new contract after all. With a different team. The Browns signed K Shaun Suisham yesterday. Suisham was 20 of 24 last year with FG attempts. Dawson has been kicking for the Browns since 1999, and is in the last year of his contract. Suisham has a 79% career FG completion average.Dawson might just find himself on the outside looking in after taking a stance against the Browns front office.
