The Cleveland Browns have announced they have signed 10 undrafted free agents.
TE Troy Wagner, 6’6″ 265 pounds, University of Indiana
OL Casey Bender, 6’5″ 290 pounds South Dakota State
DB Benjamin Burney 5’11″ 205 pounds Colorado
DB Chris Chancellor 5’9″ 185 pounds
LB Auston English 6’3″ 250 Oklahoma
WR Jonathan Haggerty 6’1″ 190 Southwest Oklahoma State
DL Swanson Miller 6’4″ 310 pounds Oklahoma State
WR Dion Morton 5’8″ 160 pounds Colorado State
OL Joel Reinders 6′ 7″ 320 pounds Waterloo
WR Aaron Valentin 6’1″ 205 pounds Purdue
Cleveland tries out a Safety
The Cleveland Browns met with John Bushing at some point in the last week. Bushing played his college ball at Miami(Ohio) where he was a linebacker, but the 6’2″ 220 pound player was moved to strong safety in the NFL.
Bushing has played for the Bengals and Texans in his career and has 57 tackles. He would most likely be a special teams player providing depth at the safety position if the Browns decide to sign him.
Cleveland Browns runningbacks 2010
I’ll be taking a look at different parts of the Cleveland Browns 2010 squad over the coming weeks but today, I’m taking a look at the running backs. Currently on the expanded off season roster, the Browns have 6 running backs listed, but I wish to look at 4 of them who will most likely be with the team as they take the field on September 12th against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Cleveland Browns finally get a quarterback and a decent draft
The Cleveland Browns addressed several of their needs in the 3 day NFL draft, and even might have landed their future franchise quarterback, though by the end of the second round many Cleveland Browns fans were most likely scratching their heads.
Montario Hardesty
Though Hardesty comes with a long history of knee problems, this Tennessee running back is a great pass catching back. Hardesty is quite a load at 5’11″ 225 pounds.
